To segment customers based on their purchase history, I applied the RFM (Recency, Frequency, Monetary) analysis-a behavioral-based method that categorizes customers into segments based on how recently they made a purchase, how often they purchase, and how much they spend.

In early 2021, Danny opened Danny’s Diner, a cozy restaurant specializing in his favorite dishes: sushi, curry, and ramen. While the diner has gathered some basic data from its first months of operation, it needs help to use this information effectively. Danny seeks insights into customer visiting patterns, spending habits, and favorite menu items to provide a more personalized and enjoyable experience for his patrons.

Danny was inspired by an Instagram post about "80s Retro Styling and Pizza Is The Future!" Enthusiastic about the idea, he decided to combine it with an innovative delivery model, aiming to Uberize the pizza business. Danny started by recruiting "runners" to deliver fresh pizzas from Pizza Runner Headquarters and developed a mobile app to accept customer orders.

Using a data-driven strategy, Danny offered monthly and annual subscriptions for unlimited access to exclusive food videos globally. This case study examines the strategic use of subscription data to inform business decisions, drive investments, and innovate new features for Foodie-Fi.
